The Moab Museum warmly welcomes everyone to be a part of a special evening with master weaver, Roy Kady, on October 20th.
In alignment with the current spotlighted exhibition, “The People’s Tapestry: Weaving Tradition in Navajo Culture,” Kady, a revered weaver, will illuminate attendees about his weaving odyssey. Dive deep into the symbiotic relationship between the Navajo-Churro Sheep and weaving as you watch the riveting documentary, “A Gift from Talking God,” depicting the raising of these unique sheep by Roy himself. To wrap up this enlightening evening, participate in a Q&A session with Roy Kady, and unravel the intricate layers of his life’s passion and profession.
